#AprilMusicChallenge Day 12 ( A song from my pre-teen years)

Dozens of Monkees' songs have been posted so far but NOT this one! I'm amazed!!!

I bought the single " I'm a believer" at the age of 10 in 1966 but it was the B-side that appealed to my developing inner-rebel.
Yes, I played this one to death!

.....Hmmm, curiously, I remember that most of the very few records I possessed at that time had a similar 'attitude'...........The Who's "My generation", The Stones "Can't get no satisfaction", this one, The Kinks' B-side, "I'm not like everybody else" The Troggs' "Wild thing", Barry McGuire's "Eve of destruction" The Small Faces "Whatcha gonna do about it?":& The Animals' " It's my life & I do what I want"
Blimey!! NOW I know why my mum was so worried about my listening material!!

Yes, those fun-loving cuddly mop-tops suddenly became angry for this one. I didn't know why that was but I found it thrilling!

So rebellious that even The Sex Pistols covered it!
