"Song To The Siren"
by This Mortal Coil

Can YOU think of any songs that make your eyes well up every time you hear them? Well, let's hear them this week!! ...and ( if you feel like sharing) tell us why that song can do that to you.

They don't have to be ballads. They can be powerful, stirring pieces, e.g., the finale to Swan Lake or countless operas. All good for putting a lump in the throat.
....Or even sunny, feel-good music can get the bottom lip twitching with joyful emotion too such as Marley's "Three little birds" or say, "Here comes the sun" or maybe "You've got a friend"

NOW, My first choice.....
I wanted to post Tim Buckley's breath-taking otherworldly original but I chose this one instead because...
(a) It's virtually as good!
(b) There are lovely accompanying images to enjoy
But mostly.......
(c) The SUBLIME LYRICS are displayed........

Just one simple line like this........
"Did I dream, you dreamed about me"?

.....or this evocative verse........
"I'm as puzzled as the newborn child
I'm as riddled as the tide
Should I stand amid the breakers?
Or should I lie with death my bride?"

( Phew! )

Bring a family sized box of Kleenex for this week's theme, OK?....enough for a German Tear Festival!! :-D

PS*****This is a great time for me to begin this theme. I was told only yesterday that I will finally become a Grandad in November!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =D =D
