Bomberboy's current selection is:
Breisleach (Delirium)
by Capercaille
When I first think about folk music I tend to look to Scotland... some of my influential folk artists have been Scottish and this is one of them

Formed in Argyll in the early 1980s they released their first record in 1984 Delirium was their 5th
This mix songs sung in Gaelic with those sung in English and use traditional as well as modern Instruments

The Personnel

Karen Matheson - vocals
Marc Duff - Whistles, Bodhran, Wind Synthesiser
Manus Lunny - Bouzouki, Guitar,
Charlie McKerron - Fiddle
John Saich - Bass, Guitar
Donald Shaw - Accordion, Keyboards

With British Folk music there are often traditional Songs going back several hundred years at times So I will try and not post anything under the #FolkRockFancies to which that applies it follows that My alter ego might be a bit busier
