The World Became The World

The band were from Milan and officially formed 1n 1970 though they originated in 1966 with a collection of Italian musicians from various backgrounds

By 1974 they had not only commercial success in Italy bit in the rest of Europe and America. They primarily sung in Italian but to garner more favour many of the albums were translated into English version with lyrics by Pete Sinfield and some songs with English titles and Lyrics began to appear form the 3rd album onwards

The album L'isola di niente ("The Isle of Nothing”) was their 4th album and sung in mostly in Italian. The English speaking version is this album which included the title song (not released in Italy, officially anyway) which is an English version of "Impressioni di Settembre”. which was the bands 1st single and released on their debut album Storia di un minuto ("Story in a Minute")
