Bomberboy's current selection is:
Moonchild
by Rory Gallagher
County Donegal is in Ulster ...

#moonweek I saw Rory twice and he always blew me away with his effortless guitar playing on a beat up Stratocaster

In this instance I think Live is best.. I always thought Calling Card was a bit over produced

Previously posted by @myrtle who has sadly been absent from thr Juke box

The Classic 3 piece line up of

Rory Gallagher (RIP) Guitar Vocals
Gerry McEvoy Bass
Ted McKenna (RIP) Drums

The album version is here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HUbLtdqdg9E

Rosd De’ath drums and Lou Martin Keyboards appear on the studio version but they left after the album was released and after featuring on 5 of his albums. The Power trio that moved forward would last from 1978 to 1981 the LP that followed it was Photo Finish, possibly my favourite of his albums
