Dynamaso's current selection is:
Ashes To Ashes
by David Bowie
On my Facebook feed this morning was a post about this track, released 39 years ago yesterday. Man, that makes me feel old.

I am still saddened by the passing of this icon. His influence on me as a musician and a composer is doubtless. Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps), more than any other of his incredible catalogue, was the one that I felt closest too, perhaps because it was also the year I finished high school. I felt like it spoke to the young man I was becoming, the outsider who preferred to play guitar than sports. He said it was more than alright to be different and that I should revel in it.

Of course, it took me a few more years to realise this. When you're that age, you want to fit in, to be the same as everyone else. It caused me no end of confusion until I started to like then love who I was, not who I wanted to be.

Anyway, hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
