by Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra
The Overture was started in November 1862 while Anton Bruckner was studying with Otto Kitzler in Linz. First published by Alfred Orel in 1921 (after the discovery of "lost" manuscripts), it was debuted by Franz Moißl on September 8th 1921 in Klosterneuburg.
Conductor: William Steinberg.
