JasonTaverner's current selection is:
The Native Daughters of the Golden West
by Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark
Wow, a title longer than their name and even longer than that note Andy McCluskey holds beginning at 2:58! In case you're wondering if this is their longest song title, it is not. The following year's "Stay (The Black Rose and the Universal Wheel)" off of The Pacific Age is longer as is "The Boy from the Chemist Is Here to See You" from Universal. The record holder is "(The Angels Keep Turning) the Wheels of the Universe" which was the free 7" single included with the first pressing of Junk Culture in 1984. Oh...you weren't wondering about that. Uh...

The video is from Crush- The Movie, a companion to the Crush album featuring interviews with the band and performances of songs. Crush featured their first U.S. Hot 100 charting single, "So In Love," along with the singles "Secret" and "La Femme Accident." Although "The Native Daughters of the Golden West" wasn't selected as a single at least there is a performance video available--you might notice at :42 Andy gets more than he expected after repeatedly telling the engineers to turn up the sound in his headphones.

The actual Order of Native Daughters of the Golden West was founded in 1886 with their first meeting in Jackson, California's Pioneer Hall, which is now a California Historical Landmark. They're dedicated to the preservation of California history. I don't think this song is about them.
