Lolita is a 1955 novel written by Russian-American novelist Vladimir Nabokov. Despite or maybe because it deals with 1 or 2 taboos its been considered one of the greatest written works of the 20th Century. Lolita is the nickname for Delores Haze (aged 12) given by a middle-aged literature professor under the pseudonym Humbert Humbert, with whom there is “being charitable” an affair....

Its been made into 2 films in 1962 and 1997 and a number of stage shows and here are a also number of songs either influenced by or directly associated with the film

The Police - Don’t Stand So Close to me
Katy Perry - One of The Boys
Lana Del Rey - Born to Die and Off at The Races (the later includes the opening lines in the book "light of my life, fire of my loins) within the lyrics
