The photo shows a view from our recent stay on beautiful Isle of Mull.
Mull Historical Society or rather, Colin MacIntyre – is a multi-instrumentalist, multi-talented, musician, programmer and producer. He is also an award-winning novelist and is one of the UK’s most respected songwriters & performers. He wrote his first song when he was 7 and debuted his first performance at Tobermory town hall with microphones attached to broomsticks.

This debut single ‘Barcode Bypass’ written about local shopkeeper's store closure due to supermarket opening was named NME’s Debut Single of the Year in 2000. It is on MHS's 2001 wonderful debut LP 'Loss' written after the sudden loss of his father, Scottish political journalist Kenny Macintyre.
The album contains samples from a Caledonian MacBrayne ferry and the waves in Calgary Bay in Mull.
