Charlotte Sometimes
by The Cure
#AprilMusicChallenge

Song about a book.

'Charlotte Sometimes' by British author Penelope Farmer in 1969.

"Charlotte Sometimes dreams a wall around herself"

Not the vid I'm afraid just the thumbnail from it...

My favourite song by The Cure. I've jammed it before twice definitely as both had very excellent but very different videos yet only one remains.....but what the heck. The song has the added bonus of being responsible for my being here (on GJB, not in this world) indirectly as talking about it in a book group in January 2013 prompted me to search for a music group and I found TIMJ and joined :)

Previous post has more info, it's pretty fascinating stuff if you want to delve.... https://www.godsjukebox.com/PartyTearsFew/the-cure-charlotte-sometimes/ which appears to still play on here but not if you play on youtube... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4KeII31qyck

Anyway, if none of that works for you here's a vimeo link - https://vimeo.com/13421854

It was nearly 1984 by Eurythmics....

1984 - United Kingdom
