by Manuel Frattini & Music-All Party company
Manuel Frattini (1965 to 2019) was an Italian dancer, singer and actor. Emmanuel Frattini was born on May 25th 1965 in Corsico, Milan, Lombardy, Italy. His artistic training began with formal study of classical ballet, jazz dance, modern dance and tap dance, being completed after attending diction and acting classes at the Center for Active Theater of Milan. His first appearances on TV as a dancer and choreographer were for several 'Rai' and 'Mediaset' productions, including the shows "La Sai Ultima", "Fantastico" and "Pronto e la Rai?". He made his "RAIDUE" comedy programme debut as a tap dancer in a dance ensemble which dressed like little boys, under the choreography of Chuck Wider. He also appeared in a transmission called "Buonasera con Milva", directed by Mauro Macario. However, from about 1991 he quit television to devote himself mainly to musical theatre, such as with the featured "Music-All Party" company. In 1997, he played 'Cosmo Brown' in the musical "Cantando Sotto la Pioggia"; for this, he received two awards - the "Bob Fosse Award" and the "Il Premio Danza & Danza" accolade. He also gain considerable popularity as a theatrical actor from this point, and in the following year received wide praise from the press regarding his talent (this increased after he performed in the popular musical "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" in the same year). He continued this career over many years, but probably the pinnacle of his success came in 2012 when he starred in "Sindrome da Musical", a show which sold out almost every tour date in Italy. Manuel Frattini died from a sudden cardiac arrest in Milan on October 13th 2019, aged 54. [ Translated from: ]

Hundreds of very talented musicians pass away each year, some without much recognition at all. On "Rest In Peace ✚", I aim to give them a fitting 'send-off', with a decent Tribute. I hope you will join me in marking their passing.....
