Thecoverguy's current selection is:
Ninety Nine and a half (won't do)
by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Written by Steve Cropper Wilson Pickett and Eddie Floyd in 1966 It was included on the Wilson Pickett LP The Exciting Wilson Pickett

The album made #3 in the Billboard R&B chart and #21 in the Popular Album Version

CCR had included Ninety Nine and a half (won't do) on their debut solo album but it had also been part of their live set.

They duly included it during their #woodstock performance. Originally John Fogerty refused to allow any footage of CCR on the film or music on record because he was irked about following The Grateful Dead in the festival running order

The CD was released in 2019 in conjunction with a 38 disc set released by Ronco Records of the complete festival
