Thecoverguy's current selection is:
All Through The Night
by Cyndi Lauper
Written by American Singer Songwriter Jules Shears in 1983 and posted by @savagetea apparently it was also offered to The Cars but they never placed it an album though they recorded it. Shears released it on his debut solo album Watch Dog

Cyndi Lauper released her cover on her #debuts album Shes's so Unusual and as a single. There was no official video unlike the other songs she released though this one is referred to as official video..

It was a #5 hit in the Billboard hot 100 and #7 in Canada it struggled to #64 in the UK and had more limited success in Europe

The album was petty successful reaching #1 in Canada made top 10 in a few countries including #4 in the Billboard hot 200 #16 in the UK

Shear co-wrote I'll kiss you off the album and sung backing vocals on this track and maybe others

Previous posted by @pbh but the video has been removed
