Thecoverguy's current selection is:
All By Myself
by James Last Orchestra
Written by Written by Eric Carmen, Sergei Rachmaninoff (Uses parts from Piano Concerto No. 2 in C Minor, Op. 18 element - The verse is based on the second movement (Adagio sostenuto) and recorded in 1974.

The Chorus was from another Eric Carmen composition Let's Pretend that he'd written a couple of years earlier when a member of The Raspberries. It was a success reaching #2 in the Billboard Hot 100 peaking at #12 in the UK and gaining top 10 in many other places

Celine Dion also covered it but here is James Last's cover. Originally a bass player he came an Orchestra leader and has loads of albums to his credit.

I don't have a problem sleeping generally if I'm tired. If I'm totally out of it I can even sleep listening to music on headphones but I have no playlist or recipe for music to help. If there is a decent song on the phones I'll be listening to it.

So for this theme I'm going to dip into music that might encourage me to get to sleep. The sort of music that has been referred to (by some) as lift music Wallpaper Music (Very Sanderson Very Kamphert or Last even) or M.O.R. or worse

The use of Racmaninoff's Piano makes adds real benefits to the song.. and Carmen's vocals are sad.. replace vocals with Orchestra ..

I'm sorry Eric, it's nothing personal you see we have this theme...
