Pillow Talk
by Doris Day
The news that Doris was gone hit me in a strange way when I heard. I actually cried! At work! When we were youngsters me an my sisters would watch ANY Doris Day film that was on tv and never wanted it to end. Calamity Jane was the big favourite and I remember the day mum bought it on vhs.... wow. I can’t even begin to guess how many times we watched it

Whenever I’m feeling grotty and poorly I get on the sofa in my pyjamas and watch ‘Pillow Talk’. Nothing else will do until I’ve watched it because it just cheers me up. As soon as this song plays I feel a bit better. I can’t remember when it became my ‘feeling poorly’ film but I’ve had it on vhs and dvd so quite a while. I’m not very often poorly so that could have something to do with it making me feel better because I get to watch it. I never watch it any other time, it doesn’t feel right

RIP Doris

I like all kinds of stuff. I'd say open minded but that's got me into trouble before so I won't. I think I play music to suit my mood and being a fully grown woman this could explain the randomness of my choosings.
