debutch's current selection is:
"Cinnamon Girl"
by Matthew Sweet & Susanna Hoffs
Susanna Hoffs will be 60 soon and in my opinion looks better than she did during her days in the Bangles 30-odd years ago.
How does she do it?

Anyway, enough of my drooling. Let's concentrate on the music.....

I recently bought a 4CD box set by Matthew Sweet & Susanna Hoffs called " Completely under the covers" and it features nothing but cover versions of songs from the golden era of Pop & Rock. One disc from the 60s, 2 from the 70s & 1 from the 80s.
The versions are done faithfully and although very few are able to match the dizzy heights of the originals, it is still a very gallant effort & there actually isn't one duff track on the entire set.

....and I have to say that Matthew & Susanna's taste in music is SUBLIME.! Yes, really second to none. ( Well, maybe second to mine but that's all. ;-D )

Choices from the likes of The Velvet Underground, Love , The Zombies & Sandy Denny from the 60s set.
Ramones, Todd Rundgren, Little Feat & Big Star from the 70s and The Pretenders, The Smiths, Tom Petty & The Clash from the 80s. & MANY more cool choices.
This really IS a "God's Jukebox!"
I usually put it on shuffle because I know that what ever pops up out of the 60 tunes, it will be something I like.

It's cheap too ( I got it for £13.99) BUY IT!!!
