The last farewell
by Claudia de Breij
Britain is set to leave the EU, and on a very non-political but personal level, Claudia (and me too) thinks that’s a very sad notion. This is her lovesong to the country of The Beatles, of French and Saunders, of so much she feels deeply attached to. So, from one European to another, her Last Farewell!

With love from Claudia (and me)

Former TIMJ double identity dutchzaphod/dutchbeeblebrox. Known for hashtags DutchClassic and NVAS (Nouvelle Vague Appreciation Society). Currently, for several reasons, contemplating moving from Amsterdam to "the country". At the age of 62 seeking less stairs and readily available nature. But reluctant to leave because of the many music venues in Amsterdam. UPDATE: As of now I'm living in a suburb of Nijmegen. Nijmegen is the next best thing, imho, after Amsterdam. :) In 2017 I've been to Poets of the Fall, Green Day and Two Door Cinema Club and many, many more including Alter Bridge in The Royal Albert Hall. In 2016 I went to see Nothing But Thieves, Poets of the Fall (2 times), The Maccabees, Tame Impala, Cage the Elephant, Muse, Noel Gallagher and his High Flying Birds, Breaking Benjamin, Temper Trap, The Boxer Rebellion, White Lies, The Kaiser Chiefs, Biffy Clyro, Alter Bridge, The Cure, Model Depose, Nouvelle Vague, Placebo and Tony Hadley (Spandau Ballet). 2018 Seen: Stereophonics, The Killers, Myles Kennedy (acoustic AND with a band, Editors, Arcane Roots,Noel Gallagher .
