Any Colour You Like, Brain Damage, Eclipse
by Pink Floyd

Hey, has anybody ever heard of this album "Dark Side of the Moon" by Pink Floyd? ;-) The record reached no. 1 on the Billboard 200 in the U.S. It has estimated sales of over 45 million copies, is Pink Floyd's best-selling album, and one of the best-selling albums ever worldwide. It remained on the Billboard album chart for 741 weeks from 1973 to 1988. According to Wikipedia, "one in every fourteen people in the US under the age of 50 is estimated to own, or to have owned, a copy." There are several versions of it, re-released, remastered, you name it. The album's artwork, with a glass prism disbursing light into color, is famous, designed by Hipgnosis and George Hardie.

As you can imagine, every track on the album has been posted on GJB at least once. I have previously posted a live version of "Any Colour You Like."

Since the studio version has never been posted, for today I am jamming it along with "Brain Damage" and "Eclipse," AKA the last three tracks on the album. The lyrics were all written by Roger Waters, and the music was written by David Gilmour, Nick Mason, Richard Wright; Roger Waters; and Roger Waters, respectively. The record was recorded at Abbey Road Studios and produced by the band.

David Gilmour - vocals, guitar, Synthi AKS; Nick Mason - drums, percussion, tape effects; Richard Wright - organ, piano, electric piano, EMS VCS 3, Synthi AKS, vocals; and Roger Waters - bass, vocals, VCS 3, tape effects.
