My Ship is Coming In
by The Walker Brothers
I loved The Walker Brothers. There was always something majestic about their singles which set them apart from a lot of mid-sixties pop acts. The arrangements were rich and interesting, the songs were high quality pop music and the vocals...........oh, the vocals.

I was ten years old when this came out but I adored it. Not their biggest hit but, in my opinion, their best song.

It's a Holiday Weekend here in the U.K and the weather looks good. I'm off to London tomorrow, to an exhibition about the 50th anniversary of the Moon landing, at The National Maritime Museum in Greenwich. I love mooching around London. An exhibition, a few old pubs, a nice lunch - and I haven’t been able to do it since March, when I busted my leg, so I'm going to enjoy this.

Dinner with my gorgeous wife, at Tom Kerridge's Hand & Flowers, tonight (it's 20 minutes from home, so we go a lot) so that I can say thank you for the way she looked after me when I was on crutches for 8 weeks.

Have a wonderful weekend, you lovely people.
