Lightning's Girl
by Nancy Sinatra
Hadn't paid attention to the lyrics of this song until only recently. Always thought she was saying “stay away from lightning, girl.” How my brain omitted all the parts indicating an actual man named Lightning...we will never know.

I’m tickled by a similar misinterpretation in the comments section below this video, and will copy it here for your pleasure. Would love to redo the song from the view of a Super:

"As a very young child when this came out I misheard it as, "Lightning Girl". I thought she must be like a comic book bad girl with lightning bolt super powers. Nancy is warning you to stay away from her or she will fry you with a lightning bolt. So the line about lightning coming down the street refers to blasts of lightning ripping down the road - a sure time that Lightning Girl isn't too far behind and it's time to run!

I see now that Lightning must be the name of a dangerous biker and the song's about staying away from his girlfriend. I like my take on it better." -- bukster1, I salute your interpretation!
